Black beaded jacket is rayon crepe and is beaded at the front and neck edge with glass bugle beads. Swirling circles of beading dot the jacket. The sleeves are pleated into the sleeve head and the pleats stitched down. The sleeves are closely fitted and they have a short slit at the wrist which closes with a snap fastener. There are light headers inserted at the inside sleeve top. Jacket closes at the neck edge with a hook and eye. Originally, there was most likely a dress to match. American, late 1930s-1940s.

Very good. One of the circles on one sleeve is missing some beads, as shown.
